Zucchini flower fritters {without milk}

Well and then how I found these flowers so pretty and they held out their arms to me (and, and !!!) well I let myself be tempted by donuts (yes i am a weak girl !). I who do very, but then very rarely frying, I had already fallen for falafel few months ago.

And how I wanted to share these pretty flowers with you, I shot in a place that is not my living room, with nothing in the way of material and a different light so don't blame me for the more than refined staging !!! Come on, I leave you with the recipe.

Zucchini flower fritters

Ingredients (pour 8 beignets)

  • 8 zucchini flowers
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g of flour
  • 20 g de maïzena
  • 10 tbsp oat milk
  • 1 pinch of Espelette pepper
  • Salt and pepper
  • 50 cl of vegetable oil

Description

Beat the eggs with salt and pepper then add the flours. Dilute the dough with the milk (you may need more or less to get a thick pancake batter). Add the Espelette pepper.

Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan.

Wash the zucchini flowers and dry them well. Dip them in the batter and put them in the oil. Let it cook 1-2 minutes and return (don't let the oil get too hot otherwise your donuts will burn).

Remove them and let drain on absorbent paper..

Sleek perhaps but very beautiful all the same, this highlights these zucchini flowers even more. Like you, I don't have a garden but I haven't yet managed to find one in my area.… Maybe someday…

Oddly, I never ate too much … and yet there are zucchini in my parents' garden but they don't want us to pick the flowers … I'm going to have to take control of myself … or you invite me ^^

Oh yes it’s a shame ! So either you pick up the male flowers so you don't sacrifice any zucchini or you come home 😉
