Aloo palak, spinach and potato curry {sans gluten – vegan}

J’aime beaucoup voyager en cuisine, utiliser plein d’épices, je crois que c’est mon tempérament curieuse, je suis le genre de fille que l’on peut lâcher sur un marcher à l’étranger et qui s’éclate à découvrir tout les produits qu’elle ne connaît pas ! Du coup aujourd’hui on voyage en Inde avec l’aloo palak, un curry d’épinards et de pommes de terre. J’aime beaucoup la cuisine indienne, je pourrais me nourrir exclusivement de curry, de dahl, de chapatis et de raita et je serais la plus heureuse (seulement tout le monde ne serait pas ravi à la maison !).

This curry is a simple dish to make and full of flavors,

which with us is appreciated by everyone on the condition of not putting too much chilli ! This dish is to be eaten simply with a spoon or with your hands. (which is widely validated by the children at home) and accompanied by naans or chapatis maison (or not).

Aloo palak, spinach and potato curry {sans gluten – vegan}

POUR 4 PEOPLE

  • 6 potatoes
  • 700 g fresh spinach
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 20 key of water
  • 2 tablespoons cumin powder
  • 2 teaspoon of cumin seeds
  • 3 teaspoons turmeric powder
  • 1 good pinch of chilli
  • 1 teaspoon of garam masala
  • Neutral vegetable oil
  • 2 bay leaves
  • You sell
  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into large chunks.
  • In a pan, heat some oil and add the cumin seeds, bring back 2 min stirring. Then add the cumin powder, turmeric and chilli.
  • Add the potatoes and sauté 2 minutes stirring.
  • Pour the water over the potatoes, salt and cook covered 20 minutes, until the water has evaporated.
  • Wash and blanch the spinach 3 min in salted boiling water. Drain them and mix them coarsely then reserve
  • In a pan, heat some oil and add the chopped onion, minced garlic cloves and garam masala. Fry over low heat 10 minutes.
  • Then add the mixed spinach and mix. Adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  • mix the potatoes and spinach together.
  • Serve with chapatis or naans and lemon.
