Voici une recette de chapati sortie de derrière les fagots, oui les photos doivent avoir au moins un an mais je ne les ai jamais publié, allez savoir pourquoi ! Pourtant depuis que j’ai fais ces petits pains indien maison, je ne m’en passe plus lorsque nous mangeons un curry, and dal ou une bonne raïta. Et puis tout comme la recette des chawarma the other day, c’est ultra simple à réaliser, il vous faudra juste de la farine, du sel etde l’eau ! Bref rien de bien compliqué, il faudra juste de l’huile de coude si jamais vous pétrissez tout ça à la main (personnellement je bénis mon robot chaque jour !).

Ingredients
  1. 250 g wholemeal flour
  2. 11 cl d'eau tiède
  3. 1 little spoon of salt
  4. 50 g vegetable margarine
Preparation
  1. Knead the flour together, l'eau et le sel pendant 10 minutes until you obtain a soft and elastic dough.
  2. Let the dough rest 30 min under a cloth.
  3. Separate the dough into 8 dough pieces and roll them out thinly using a rolling pin.
  4. Heat a pan over medium heat and arrange the chapati on the pan.
  5. Let it cook 1 minute on each side.
  6. Keep warm and serve with the melted margarine on top..
