Burger falafel

Tant et si bien (bizarre comme elle change de langage du tout au tout aujourd’hui, elle sait pas ce qu’elle veut !) that we do it every time we have guests at home at the moment, and they are all conquered, or they don’t dare tell us the opposite ! In short, this burger, We love it and we hope you will too (because he needs love).
To serve with potatoes maison (of course), a good salad and just enjoy !

- 6 burger buns
- 2 lawyers
- Radishes
- You ketchup (here beetroot)
- Salad leaves
- FOR THE FALAFEL STEAKS
- 250 g dried chickpeas
- 1 small onion
- 3 tablespoons of chickpea flour
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 bouquet of parsley
- A few coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon of cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon of coriander seeds
- 1/2 c. pepper teaspoon
- 2 teaspoons. bicarbonate of soude
- 3 c. tablespoon of water
- 1 c. teaspoon of salt
- Olive oil
- The day before, soak the chickpeas in cold water.
- The day after, rinse and drain the chickpeas then put in a blender with the onion, garlic, parsley and coriander then mix everything as finely as possible.
- Once the chickpeas are finely chopped, add the spices, le bicarbonate, salt, water and flour, stir to obtain a nice smooth paste (add a little flour if necessary) and thick. Book cool 15 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 6 and form the steaks. Heat a good drizzle of olive oil in a pan and let it cook 4 minutes on each side.
- Prepare your burgers by placing ketchup on the bottom of the bun, some salad, the falafel steaks, slices of avocado and radishes then close and enjoy.

24.3.16Once again, this recipe is very desirable. I don't know about beet ketchup : not found in the “sauces” section. I'm going to do some research !
Emilie
25.3.16This one is not homemade I found it at monop’. But I intend to look into the matter soon. !

24.3.16Great vegan burger 🙂
I'm salivating…
What do you think about using canned chickpeas? (and therefore already cooked) instead of dried chickpeas ? it would have the merit of offering a variant ready very quickly in the event of a crazy-day-not-a-minute-to-breathe ^^
Emilie
25.3.16merciiii !
I think it can work although in my opinion it will take a little more chickpea flour ! It’s true that it’s the ideal troubleshooting solution 😉
Nina
25.3.16No but seriously, Is there anything on this planet better than a falafel burger?? NON. That's life. Voilà. I don't understand why some people still insist on putting steak in their burgers eh…

Clairelle
28.3.16Technical question: you should therefore not cook the chickpeas before mixing them? Soaking then cooking in a pan is enough? Merci!!
Emilie
31.3.16In effect, chickpeas are not cooked in falafels, this is what gives the texture and taste of beans !

4.4.16I have a puddle of drool on my knees… I can't wait to find a kitchen to try this !!!
Emilie
5.5.16oh thank you Rory 😉

20.4.16I tried the falafel recipe and it was interesting. On the other hand I find that 250g of chickpeas for 6 steacks, it's definitely not enough. Well for adult parts anyway.
Emilie
5.5.16Arf it all depends on appetite 😉
