The bloggers’ box
En août dernier, nous avons été contacté par Marie du blog From the sun, with love, elle avait un petit projet à nous proposer : inspirée par toutes les Boxs qui fleurissent en ce moment, elle a souhaité lancer une ‘Box des blogueuses’. L’idée était de réunir un petit groupe de blogueuses que Marie apprécie, de tirer au sort la destinatrice, pour que chacune envoie une box de sa propre composition et reçoive une box d’une autre blogueuse. Il n’y a pas d’abonnement, c’était simplement pour le plaisir de préparer un colis et celui d’en recevoir un.

Marie living in Canada, she really wanted to introduce French women to products from her country. By chance, we are the ones who received Marie’s super box. And yes, it's us ! Ahhh, In fact, we forgot to tell you that we only knew the person to whom we should send our box. So it’s a big surprise for us today too because we’re discovering the other boxes at the same time as you..
As we are 8 and on several continents, it took us a little time, then the end of year holidays arrived, et nous sommes donc ravie de pouvoir enfin parler ce cette box en 2013, presque 5 mois après le 1er mail de Marie.
The bloggers’ box
Comme vous pouvez le voir, nous avons été bien gâtées. Marie a décidé de nous faire faire un tour de Toronto, ville apparemment très cosmopolite.
Nous avons reçu :
- du sirop d’érable
- du beurre de cacahuète
- de la pâte de curry vert
- des chipotle peppers
- du thé roibos
- des noix de pécans
- et des emportes-pièces pour cookies et donuts, une belle lettre d’accompagnement.
Et voici un aperçu de la Box que nous avons envoyé à Marie de La Cuisine du Jardin, vous aurez plus de détail sur son blog.
Nous y avons mis des produits de notre région, le sud-est de la France :
- nougat from Montélimar
- walnuts
- pralines roses
- tapenade
- chestnut cream
- antisitis
- green chartreuse
- homemade recipe cards to provide some ideas on how to use the products in our box.
The recipes we have attached are :
- Homemade mousses with chestnut cream
- Thin zucchini and tapenade tart
- Apple and walnut tart
- Brioche Saint-Genix
- Nougat creme brulee

It’s quite funny because it seems that we all had a different vision of this box. Some sent raw products, others products of their own creation or even kitchen utensils. We were regional products…
