Vegetable milk semolina and candied vanilla kumquats {vegan}

Not too sweet and regressive as desired, we adopted him (petit, petit, petit….) Yes yes I'm cracking up a little here !!!

Vegetable milk semolina and candied vanilla kumquats {vegan}

Ingredients (pour 6 small pots)

  • 1 liter of spelled milk
  • 120 g of medium or fine semolina
  • 2 c. to s. cane sugar
  • 1/2 jar of candied kumquats with vanilla
  • 1/2 c. at c. vanilla powder
  • Slivered almonds

Description

Cut half of the kumquats into small pieces and put them in the bottom of a saucepan.

Add the milk and bring it to the boil with the sugar then pour the semolina over the top.. Let it cook 10 min on low heat while stirring.

Let cool 5 min out of heat, stir well.

Pour the mixture into small jars and put them in the fridge for at least 2 h.

Semoule au lait

Before serving, warm up some candied kumquats, pour over the semolina and add a few flaked almonds, roasted or not.

    I'm not usually a big fan of semolina with milk, but looking at the photos I said to myself “only fools don’t change their minds”, because I really want to try.
