Almond and rose cigars

Everyone loved it even though we weren't very hungry anymore., it's true that these almond cigars are very addictive !!!

Almond and rose cigars

Ingredients (for twenty)

  • 170 g whole almond powder
  • 10 brick sheets
  • 75 g cane sugar
  • 150 g of honey (here acacia honey)
  • 1 c. to s. rose water
  • 50 g of butter

Description

Preheat the oven to 170°.

In a salad bowl, mix together the almond powder, rose water, and sugar to form a paste. Form 20 sausages.

Cut the pastry sheets in half to obtain a half circle. Place a sausage of marzipan on the sheet, fold the sides then roll it up to form a cigar. Arrange in a baking dish and repeat until exhausted.

Melt the butter then spread it with a brush on the cigars.

Bake 10-12 minutes so that they begin to brown.

Heat the honey then pour it over the cigars, roll them in so that they soak up well.

They make me want these cigars ! But little concern of gluten intolerance, so what can I replace the sheets of bricks with ? Will the rice papers have the same rendering? ? Merci.
