Cookies rennes

Enfin bref ces cookies rennes plairont, I am sure, autant aux petits qu’aux grands enfants, and why not offer them in pretty transparent paper for Christmas, I'm sure they will be adopted very quickly !!!
This is therefore the fifth party recipe and by far the cutest and childish in this file., yes because at Christmas it is important to find our childish soul. Remember, last year I made Christmas tree cupcakes. And you, you are also in cute mode during the end of year holidays ?!

- 100 g brown wheat flour
- 55 g whole cane sugar
- 50 g of margarine
- 20 g of molasses
- 1/2 tablespoon of powdered ginger
- 1 pinch of baking soda
- FOR THE DECOR
- Des biscuits Nilla wafers (or mini round biscuits)
- White sugar paste
- Red coloring
- 40 g dark chocolate
- Pretzels
- Put the flour, sugar, the bicarbonate and ginger in a salad bowl then add the melted margarine. Work the dough by hand or in a robot fitted with a sheet then add the molasses. Work until you obtain a very smooth dough then form a ball. Film and refrigerate 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180°.
- Roll out the dough on 3-4 mm thick then cut out circles using a cookie cutter.
- Arrange the biscuits on a baking tray then bake 14 minutes.
- Once the cookies have cooled, start the decor.
- For that, melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave.
- Start by arranging the reindeer snouts. Stick the Nilla waffers with chocolate on the biscuits, making them stick out by half.
- Then glue the wood, by doing the same operation with the pretzels.
- Then prepare the sugar paste, divide it in half then color one half red (I advise you to wear latex gloves). Make small balls to form noses, then stick them with a little chocolate.
- Spread the white sugar paste on 2 mm thick on a surface dusted with icing sugar then make small circles for the eyes using a cookie cutter (I personally took a test tube cap !). Arrange them on your reindeer then make dots with the melted chocolate on top to finish the eyes.
- Here your reindeer cookies are ready !

Have fun !
