Brussels sprout salad, pears and kumquats

Ça n’est pas la première fois que je cuisine le chou de Bruxelles en salade, mais cette fois, j’étais tellement contente de mon mélange, que j’ai décidé de partager la recette avec vous. And then, on a toujours besoin d’idées de salades, parce que y’a pas que la batavia, la feuille de chêne et la laitue dans la vie ! Cette salade c’est un peu tout l’hiver dans une même assiette, choux de Bruxelles, pear, kumquats et noix… et une petite vinaigrette à l’orange pour faire le plein de bonnes choses. J’avoue que Monsieur à été un peu dubitatif en voyant le mélange d’ingrédients de cette salade, but he quickly changed his mind during the tasting…phew !
Well I know it's Wednesday, children's day, and Brussels sprout salad on Children's Day…but who said kids don't like Brussels sprouts? ?!


- 300 g Brussels sprouts
- 1 pear
- 6 kumquats
- 6 nut
- Juice of half a lemon
- Juice of half an orange
- 1 teaspoon of mustard
- 1 drizzle of olive oil
- Wash and finely cut the Brussels sprouts.
- Cut the pear into quarters then into thin slices, lemon it.
- Cut the kumquats into thin slices.
- Assemble everything and add the crushed walnuts.
- Make the vinaigrette by mixing the orange juice, olive oil and mustard.
- Season the salad and enjoy immediately.
