Weekend in Toulouse with Papillon
Le soir, après avoir eu quartier libre pour visiter la ville, we had dinner at the Capoul brasserie and continued the evening around mojitos !
The day after, after breakfast at the Halles Victor-Hugo, head to the kitchen of chef Stéphane Réau for a culinary workshop on the theme of a picnic. Separation into three groups : entrée, main course and dessert, and even if the good weather wasn't really there that morning, we still all played the freshness card. The team entered, of which I was a part, concocted a cauliflower and romanesco tabbouleh, green zebra tartare and Roquefort whipped cream.
The day ended in beautiful sunshine. (phew saved) and a few hiccups at the airport… ok I'll tell you everything : one missed her plane because of a box of cassoulet, and I had to negotiate to pass with a rolling pin which supposedly could be used as a strike weapon !!!
A big thank you to Papillon for this great weekend, Walter (thanks for the jacket !), Chef Damien (we are impatiently waiting for macramé and glue stick !), Stéphane Réau (thank you chef for the lemons !), Marion Tasle, Stéphane, Morgan, Nelly (thanks for the laughs !), Marion, The Charlottes(s) and Manon. And the bloggers : Paula et Myrlene (thank you girls for the macramé DIY !), Cecile, Stephanie (team princess), Marguerite (team princess bis), Carine, Isabelle, Gaëlle, Cecile, Marion et Swann. In short, a perfect organization for a weekend that was just as perfect.
Thanks to Stéphane Giner for the photos !

16.7.15The recipe for Roquefort truffles was a great gourmet idea… crowned with success… Congratulations for this won and deserved competition !
We have no idea of taking a plane with a rolling pin 😉 Hiccups at airports are always funny… A day, I saw a very small nail clipper confiscated which was in a toiletry bag. The passenger was stunned :this is understandable.

I was hesitant to participate, the competition seemed tough.
