Apple donuts {without milk}
Oui je sais, des beignets aux pommes juste avant les fêtes et en plein calendrier de l’avent (surtout si vous avez choisi l’option chocolat) c’est pas hyper raisonnable, mais faut-il toujours être raisonnable ?! Brief, même si le gras c’est la vie, je me suis quand même dis que l’accompagner de fruits serait pas plus mal et puis j’ai une excuse, ces derniers temps javais une envie folle de beignets (et de choses fritent en général) alors j’ai assouvi mon besoin ! A l’heure ou j’écris ces lignes cette envie commence à passer, and my hips tell me thank you for returning to a slightly lighter diet ! Enough with the jokes, I am sure that this recipe for apple fritters will please both young and old children., in any case my donuts didn't last long at home, Mini Miss and Monsieur (and me) we quickly devoured them.
If you ever want to preserve yourself a little before the holidays, keep the recipe on hand for Mardi Gras, I'm sure she will make people happy !
- 4-5 big apples
- 250 g of flour
- 2 eggs
- 25 cl vegetable milk
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of neutral vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 50 cl of oil for frying
- For the donut dough, put the flour, the sugar and the yeast in a salad bowl mix and make a well.
- Add the egg yolks to the center, the oil and gradually dilute with the milk until you obtain a smooth paste.
- Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and add thoroughly to the dough..
- Peel the apples, hollow them out and cut them into slices about a centimeter thick.
- Heat the oil in a skillet, dip apple slices in donut batter and fry 30 second/1 minute each side.
- Reserve on absorbent paper and sprinkle with icing sugar.
