Avec ce froid et la neige, rien ne vaut un bon petit goûter (bon quand il fait chaud aussi mais ça n’est pas la même !) ! Et quoi de mieux que de bonnes chouquettes pour affronter l’hiver, bah rien me direz-vous ! Et cette fois, je vous livre ma recette de choux sans beurre, qui pour tout vous avouer n’est pas bien différente de la version classique. But OK, c’est aussi une bonne excuse (lol) pour vous re-cuisiner des chouquettes et vous prouver (or not), que l’on peux très bien se passer de beurre et de lait ! Et puis personnellement, je trouve la version de choux sans beurre bien plus digeste, et en plus ceux qui ne le savent pas ne verront même pas la différence. Mini-Mademoiselle is a big fan of cabbages, It’s for her that these chouquettes were prepared and I can tell you that if I don’t stop her, she would be able to devour the dish !!!

Recette Choux sans beurre

  1. 110 g of flour
  2. 200 g vegetable milk
  3. 90 g vegetable margarine 80% de MG
  4. 4 medium eggs
  5. 2 pinches of sugar
  6. 2 pinches of salt
  7. 100 g brown sugar
Preparation
  1. Prepare the choux pastry by heating the milk, water, sugar, salt and margarine together in a saucepan. When everything is well melted, add the flour all at once and mix using a wooden spoon. Turn the dough in the pan to dry it out for 2 To 3 minutes.
  2. Put the dough in a bowl and let it rest 3 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 250° in static heat.
  4. Then add the eggs one by one into the choux pastry., stirring well between each with a wooden spoon. Then pour the batter into a piping bag..
  5. On a baking sheet, make cabbage 3 cm in diameter by holding your piping bag vertically to the plate, cut with a sharp blow. Be sure to space them out.
  6. Generously pour the brown sugar over the choux.
  7. Put in and turn off the oven. Let it cook 20 minutes. At the end of 20 minutes turn the oven back on at 180° in static heat and let dry 15 minutes. Do not open the oven door before the choux has finished cooking. !
  8. Take them out of the oven, Let cool and taste.
