Chiffon cake

Le gâteau mousseline c’est un peu le gâteau de mon enfance, celui que ma maman nous faisait souvent pour nous faire plaisir. A mon tour de vous faire plaisir et de partager avec vous cette recette qui me tient tant à cœur. Si vous vous en souvenez j’avais déjà réalisé cette recette aux blancs d’œufs juste ici. Seulement trois ingrédients composent cette recette, des œufs du sucre et de la fécule de maïs alors vous n’aurez plus d’excuses pour faire plaisir à ceux que vous aimez.
Je vous propose aussi une petite variante, why not cover or garnish the cake with a good homemade jam ?!

Chiffon cake
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 125 grams of sugar
- 65 g cornstarch (type of cornstarch)
Description
Preheat the oven to 160°.
Separate the yolks from the whites then beat the yolks with the sugar until you obtain a foamy and white mixture..
Then add the cornstarch to the preparation and mix using a spatula.
Beat the egg whites until stiff then add them thoroughly with a spatula., to the previous preparation.
Pour everything into the non-stick or buttered-floured mold of your choice and bake 30-40 min.

I'm trying your recipe today, my cake is currently baking in my oven. As this is a first for me and I have never tasted it, I don't know if I succeeded. Otherwise, I have a quick question: the eggs you use are around 60g? Because I think the ones I used are a little small. I will if it is as light as yours. See you soon for the verdict.
