Chocolate Liège waffles {without milk}

L’autre jour ma fille me dis : » Il y a eu la galette des rois, la fête des crêpes, There are donuts coming soon but when is the waffle party? ?! » ; so we said to ourselves that Valentine’s Day was a good holiday for that ! ,

The Liège waffle is the Ferrari of waffles,

it's worth it, a few hours of patience and it’s the holy grail of gluttony, especially in this non-purist chocolate chip version. Good if you are in a hurry and want waffles, there are always the classic waffles but they don't play in the same class ! This recipe was also an opportunity to show you the result of the avocado vegetable dye, I did several tests with different fabrics and different soaking times and the results are incredible, the colors are really perfect, You can not find ? So, I leave you with the recipe for chocolate waffles.

Chocolate Liège waffles {without milk}

POUR 10-12 WAFFLES

  • 375 g of flour
  • 190 g of margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 20 cl of soy milk
  • 1 packet of baker's yeast
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g chocolate chips
  • Put the yeast with 2 tablespoons of lukewarm water, let it rest 10 min then stir.
  • For the waffle batter, put the flour in a bowl, make a well and add the yeast to the center. Work the dough between your fingers (or the robot equipped with a sheet) and add the egg, soy milk and salt. Knead the dough and stretch it, then add the margarine.
  • Knead the dough until it comes away from the bowl (you can transfer it to the work surface for greater ease).
  • Finally add the chocolate chips.
  • Let the dough rise covered under a tea towel for 2 hours.
  • Degas the dough with the point, then form dough pieces of the desired size and leave to rest again 2 hours under a cloth.
  • Preheat the waffle maker, then cook your dough for approximately 4 minutes environ (the time will depend on your device).

      That's what's magical about avocado, you don't need a fixative. !
