Tropical avocado mousse with Espelette pepper

Mousse d'avocat tropical

Tropical avocado mousse with Espelette pepper

Ingredients (pour 4)

  • 1 avocat tropical
  • 2 c. to s. avocado oil
  • 1 c. to s. fresh cream
  • The juice of half a lime
  • 1 good pinch of Espelette pepper
  • Salt and pepper

Description

Cut the avocado in half, remove the core and peel it. Then cut it into pieces and put them in a blender.

Add the other ingredients and mix until foamy.

Serve chilled !

Emilie

I didn't know the tropical avocado at all… What differentiates him from the “normal” lawyer ?

Ah super! I bought one not long ago, my boyfriend tried to make guacamole with it, it was honestly not a success. It tasted like lemon water, but absolutely no lawyer. I think with chili it could spice things up! To try as soon as I see it in store again. 🙂

Oh so good 😀 And with this heat, it’s perfect for having a fresh and soft taste in the mouth.

I need to try and find a tropical avocado (like many I didn't know this variety existed) and therefore make this recipe. Like I eat sandwiches for lunch, It might be a good idea to garnish them and add slices of smoked salmon :)

In any case, thank you very much for this lovely discovery <3

Thank you very much Pauline 😀
You will see it is a larger variety than the classic avocado (more than double), I'm sure you'll like it !
      Kisses.
