Fine beefsteak tomato tart, mustard and county

Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry roll
  • 3-4 tomates cœur de bœuf (selon la taille)
  • 3 c. to s. de moutarde à l’ancienne
  • 50 g de comté
  • Une bonne pincée d’herbes de Provence
  • Pepper

Description

Preheat the oven to 200°.

Spread your puff pastry on a baking tray. Then cover with whole-grain mustard and Comté cheese cut into thin strips..

Wash and cut your tomatoes into thin slices then place them on the dough.

Sprinkle everything with Provence herbs and pepper..

Tarte fine de tomates

Bake 15-20 minutes.

    Hello Emily
Here I put my tomato tart in the oven , I brushed the bottom with Périgord walnut mustard that I had in my fridge , crumbled boursin with walnuts and figs. Then slice my two beef heart tomatoes , sprinkled with basil and a drizzle of olive oil to finish with a slice of goat cheese to define the portions and I just added my black Greek olives that I had forgotten , voilà 🙂
I was surprised at the price of tomatoes 4.20 double that of the others , I only bought two which I got for almost €2 and they filled my entire pie dish ….

Hmm I discovered the tomato/mustard tart with friends this summer, and I haven't done one since, even though I had promised myself to do one as soon as I returned ! I need to get started soon 😉

I just made another one with a little less mustard because I added a little too much or maybe my nut mustard is very strong.
And I found beef heart tomatoes half as expensive as the first time, so I took a kg of them , but not put everything in …. I took some Maasdam which I cut into pieces … remaining black olive and basil … 🙂
