Apple and Walnut Coleslaw

Voici une salade d’hiver que j’adore. Je ne saurais pas vous en dire plus, mais ce mélange croquant de chou, carotte et oignon ravit mes papilles à chaque bouchée. Alors que nous avons tendance à manger de plus en plus mou, cette salade est le remède parfais pour faire fonctionner notre mâchoire et nous régaler de bonnes choses crues.

La pomme et les noix viennent ajouter ce petit truc en plus qui manquait peut-être (or not !) au coleslaw, mais laissez votre imagination marcher et remplacez la pomme par de la poire ! Et pourquoi pas ajouter un peu de persil haché ?!
For the sauce, I preferred something lighter than traditional mayonnaise, but you do what you want with it, It’s just an invitation to change. !!!

Apple and Walnut Coleslaw
Ingredients (pour 4)
- 1/2 white cabbage or 1 petit
- 3 carrots
- 3 apples
- 1 small onion
- A few walnut kernels
- The juice of half a lemon
For the sauce
- 1 Greek yogurt
- 1 c. to s. almond puree
- 2 c. at c. mustard
- 2 c. at c. cider vinegar
- 1 drizzle of walnut oil
- Salt and pepper
Description
Slice the cabbage, peeled onion and carrots previously peeled with a knife, a mandolin or a robot. Put everything in a salad bowl.
Cut the apples into thin wedges, lemon them and add them to the vegetables.
Add the walnut kernels.
For the sauce, mix all the ingredients together, pour it over the salad and toss.

18.2.13I remember your seasoning recipe as much lighter than mayo, which spoils this salad a little for my taste ! So it makes me want to make some again with a GOOD cabbage, not too hard as often bought in stores.
