Melon gazpacho with mint
« L’été s’ra chaud, l’été s’ra chaud, dans les tee-shirts dans les maillots…. » désolée pour cette chanson pourrit mais on se console comme on peut ! Finally, perso j’ai encore un peu d’espoir car je prends mes vacances dans une dizaine de jours, et j’espère bien que le mois de septembre sera chaud justement ! Bon si c’est pas le cas, on se console avec un gaspacho de melon bien frais, oui car en ce début septembre les étals des marché regorge des beaux légumes d’été (alors oui Monsieur le potimarron, You will wait for a few more months for me to set my sights on you !). And as I saw Hana concoct a beautiful Gaspacho at the watermelon, I had a sudden desire for Gaspacho ! But since I had neither pastes, nor basil on hand (Yeah, I have little hands !), It's finished in improvisation with a melon and mint gaspacho !
So we let go, We have fun and we offer ourselves (Maybe for the last time) a cold soup from a hot country As if we sipped it by the beach on a summer evening (Nothing forbids you to put your Borsalino and your sunglasses to pretend that !). Come on, I leave you with some photos and the recipe.


- 1 melon
- 500 g of tomatoes (Here beef heart)
- 1 fresh onion
- 1 small red pepper
- A few mint leaves
- 1 filet d'huile d'olive
- You tabasco (optional)
- You sell
- Cut all the vegetables (and the melon !) roughly, And put everything in a blender.
- Add the olive oil, Mint and tabasco then mix everything well. Salt.
- Serve with a drizzle of olive oil.
- That's all !
