watermelon gazpacho with basil

In addition we limit the dishes, it's great !). We were seduced by this test of Gaspacho de Pettèque and even preferred it to the classic Gaspacho ! And ah yes and a little advice in passing, Choose good producer tomatoes, Taste level (And I think I don't teach you anything) that makes all the difference.
Good gazpacho !

10.8.15Your recipe tempts me a lot, I who love watermelon ! And then the cold soups in summer is really nice !
On the other hand I do not eat tomatoes at all, You think we can replace them, by red peppers for example ?

Emilie
11.8.15Yes I think you can put more watermelon and integrate 1 or 2 peppers instead of tomatoes !

12.8.24Too much want to try for this weekend !
What would be the quantities for a dinner aperitif of 10 people (doubling them seems a lot to me no)? This will be a refreshing appetizer among the other dishes..
And I wondered what the cucumber brought to the taste level ? It is a fairly neutral vegetable which risks getting lost., non ?

4.11.24Cucumber brings freshness to gazpacho and less sugar, pour 10 doubling is a good option !
