Ça y est les températures sont remontées (la canicule est de retour) et quand c’est comme ça on a qu’une seule envie c’est de se rafraichir ! Et comme je suis une fille géniale (and and !!!) j’ai la solution qu’il vous faut : brumisateur, piscine/mer/lac, ventilateur et/ou ma super citronnade à la verveine citron (ça commence à faire beaucoup de citrons ça !). Servie toute fraiche, vous n’aurez qu’une envie c’est de la siroter toute la journée, alors si comme moi vous avez super chaud ces derniers temps, déshabillez-vous take out all available empty bottles and stock up on lemonade ! And if you don't have lemon verbena on hand, classic verbena or basil (tested and approved) do the job very well. Ingredients
  1. 50 key of water
  2. 100 g cane sugar
  3. 1 bouquet of lemon verbena
  4. 4-5 lemons
Preparation
  1. Mix the water and sugar, add the verbena and bring to the boil for 10 minutes.
  2. Let cool and remove the verbena.
  3. Then mix the syrup and the lemon juice.
  4. Serve chilled !

    Great summer recipes Emilie ! Good idea, the last cold drink with lemon verbena that I'm going to buy this morning. I also make various lemonades or cooled infusions, eg : lime/cardamom/lemongrass/ginger in 500 ml of water + 500 ml of organic or homemade lemonade ; or very simple and light : In 1 l of fresh water juice of a lemon, mint leaves and 100 g of brown sugar. Nice summer

    The verbena-lemon mixture, It always reminds me of a Le Petit Marseillais shower gel that I love ^^ It must be really good as a drink (Finally, not the shower gel eh, just the combination of lemon and verbena!)
