Chocolate cake in a cake

Thank you for this recipe but I just tested it, It is impossible to do 2 Cakes with 110gr flour…
In any case, Not a mounted piece, She is ridiculous! You must have used small molds otherwise I don't see how!
Now I hope it will be good, But I have to make another one because, even for 6, He's too small…..
Everyone leaves positive comments before trying, misconception!

That is to say that there is still 7 egg whites mounted in snow, it brings volume. Your problem should probably come from there…

Thank you for this recipe , I just realized it to please my husband because it is our wedding anniversary , Instead of macaroons , I put small raspberry meringues and for the top cake , I did a white chocolate frosting.

    Hello Emily….

Your cake…. just…. Terribly good 🙂 And very beautiful! Bravo!

Petite question, The molds you use do how many diameters?
Other question, Even with different diameters, They take the same time to cook?

A big thank-you, and still bravo, Your recipes are incredible 😉

Thank you very much Carina 😉
The molds made 28 et 17 cm in diameter. You can cook the smaller cake 5 minute minutes than the first but it does not change the texture at all !
      See you soon !

Thank you for this recipe!! I tested it for my son's birthday last Sunday. We received 35 people and the cake really liked 🙂 chocolatey and with a different texture of chocolate cakes that we usually (soft, fondant…).
I used 2 pieces to be mounted with 20 et 22 cm. I had to increase the amount of ingredients because even if it swells a little and the egg whites bring a little volume, It would have made too flat cakes for a mounted piece. I advise to multiply the quantity of each ingredient by 1,5 To fill a mounted piece mold. For a simple cake, I think the above quantities are enough.

Thank you very much Alexandra for this return 😉 Indeed the basic quantities are for 8-10 people !

    Hi,
Your cake looks beautifully good and it is too beautiful !
I just wanted to ask you (Since you probably have eating this cake since you did it ^^) If a chocolate cake with a chocolate topping it's a little too much chocolate ?

    • Emilie
      31.3.16

It is true that it is a lot of chocolate but when you like it 😉 but it is not too chocolate if it is what you mean !

      • Louise
        3.4.16

In any case thank you for responding and for all the info !
The two cakes are currently in the oven, I took your recipe for my sister's birthday. I would tell you once eaten what we thought about it.
(I planned a decoration made in the pastry pocket and with strawberries) 😉

        • Emilie
          4.4.16

So I hope this cake was perfect because it looks very greedy with strawberries 😉

  • Louise
    29.3.16

Ah yes and I forgot to ask you ^^ (Sorry)
The quantities that you used are the ones that correspond to the photo cake ?
Because I have read comments saying that the quantities were not sufficient. What surprises me since your cake still looks large. (Personally I think to follow your quantities) 🙂

    • Emilie
      31.3.16

Yes that's right ! My molds made 25 cm and 15 cm in diameter so the cake is still substantial !

  • Anna
    29.4.16

My my my …. This cake seems to be a killing. I wanted you to ask a few questions. First of all you say good chocolate, that is to say nestle chocolate to knead or another chocolate? The whole whipping cream or not ? And to finish I'm looking to make a mounted piece for my daughter's baptism and I read in 1 comments that had to multiply the doses by 1,5 So my question is with mussels of 15 et 25 cm almost dubbing the doses is what they are left longer to cook or it does not change. I start in pastry. Thank you

    • Emilie
      11.5.16

For the chocolate, It is up to you to see but better chocolate will necessarily give a better cake 😉 The whole whipping cream of course and in terms of cooking if you increase the doses, You must lower the oven by 10 ° and increase the cooking of 20 minutes.
