Toasted pumpkin seeds

Preheat the oven to 200°.
Disposez-les sur une plaque allant au four, ajoutez un filet d’huile d’olive et du sel.

27.6.12Tu m’apprends quelque chose. Je ne savais pas qu’on pouvait les réutiliser.
Emilie
27.6.12Yes Lolotte and what’s more home made it’s great !
Pauline
28.6.12Oh I didn't know we could do that at all !
This is really a great idea. Personally, I would choose to sprinkle it on a salad :) (it's too hot to enjoy a good risotto and I'm not much of an aperitif)
Emilie
28.6.12It’s true that the heat has been rather oppressive lately. !!!
Kisses Pauline.

28.6.12I love that. It replaces peanuts in my diet. I don't even use olive oil for my part. I find that salt is enough !

4.10.13Thank you for these instructions ! I have never reused the seeds from my pumpkins or zucchini… But I want to try !!! Once they are in the oven, How long can they be kept in an airtight container? ?
Sab
4.10.13PS : I pin it on pinterest to find your recipe more easily 😉
Melanie
19.10.13I would love to do it, it looks famous, but separating the seeds from the flesh of my butternut squash seems quite tedious to me. Is it because it’s not the right variety of squash to make it?, or do you have a technique to separate the seeds from the inside of the squash ?
Emilie
19.10.13Not really a trick, I confirm that it is a bit tedious !!! But this is easier with butternut squash or pumpkin. !
GRANIER
21.7.14Bonjour,
Cooking in the oven allows them to be shelled ? because in the trade they are shelled.
I then imagine that they “explode” in the oven ?
Thank you for your reply
Emilie
21.7.14Bonjour, no they do not explode in the oven but the shell grills and becomes completely edible !
