Chocolate and coconut granola

Granola chocolat

I am a chocolate addict), With a touch of coconuts and good things in it like agave syrup or coconut oil.

I think as a bonus that this granola would be perfect to accompany the smoothie of the moment « le superfood ». I would even be able to make it my evening meal because I am addicted, but good, I'm the type to make breakfast dinners (not you ?!), And apparently it's typically feminine, So maybe you girls you understand me !!!

Approved ! I was still saying recently in Lyne (Spices and me) that I only left a comment when I had tested and my comments could bring something… I will not bring anything except that this granola is excellent ! And yet… Despite all its good nutritional properties, I don't like coconut oil at all so I left with a light a priori (Trying in Crukies, necessarily, We feel it much more), but in cooking, it's perfect : just a very good smell and flavor !
I agree on the lack of crunch, I like big chips of agglomerated cereals and there are few, But however it is really worth this granola ! I insist.

A big thank you and a hello from Grenoble 😉

I just came across your recipe and perfect I have everything in my closets. Out 10 minutes in advance but too much cooked… This is my second granola but I can't make nuggets. Oat flakes remain "separated"… Is there a particular technique to make them agglomerate ? I will try back on !

    • Emilie
      11.11.16

No there is not really a technique for the nuggets and in terms of the oven you can be kept the same time of cooking but by reducing the heat !

  • He looks really good. I would have to test. Thanks for the recipe

Bonjour ! I would like to try it very much but I wanted if it is a agave syrup it would work. Because I hate it, as well as honey. If yes, I have to put more oil ? What oil ? Something else ?
Yes, Do we feel the taste of agave syrup ? Can I replace with honey (It's better for health).

Thank you very much for your future response.

Hello Angeline, To answer you we do not feel the taste of agave syrup on the other hand honey is more marked as a taste. Otherwise you can find datte or coconut syrup in organic store or even maple syrup that will do the job very well ! Good test !
