Prunes in red wine and spices
Prunes in red wine and spices
Ingredients (pour un gros pot)
- 500 g de gros pruneaux d’Agen
- 1 litre 1/2 good red wine
- 100 g cane sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- 1 star anise
- 1 scraped vanilla bean
- 2 large chunks of organic lemon peel
Description
Put all the ingredients in a pot, bring everything to a boil, lower the heat and simmer 35-45 minutes (the syrup should have a good consistency).
Leave to rest overnight in the fridge before enjoying..
Store refrigerated in an airtight container.
