Ah… le pulled pork burger vegan, je dis vous dire que j’en rêvais depuis un moment de cette petite chose là. Je l’avais vu passé sur la blogo avec du jackfruit (fruit du jaquier), le genre de truc qu’on ne trouve pas facilement par chez nous , alors j’avais abandonné l’idée d’en manger un ! Et puis la saison des pleurotes est revenue, et nous adorons ça à la maison, et je me suis dit que sa forme et sa texture serait parfaite dans ce burger. Une petite cuisson avec une sauce barbecue maison plus tard et voilà enfin prêt mon pulled pork vegan, only happiness ! To accompany my oyster mushrooms I made a rather simple garnish, a small coleslaw salad like coleslaw but without mayo and arugula. I can tell you that Monsieur was rather skeptical at the start (arf these men !) and finally ate 2 licking burgers chops fingers !

A little food porn doesn't hurt (new saying !), especially if you accompany this burger with a salad rather than fries !!!

Pulled pork vegan burger

Ingredients
  1. 4 burger buns
  2. 1/4 red cabbage
  3. 2 carrots
  4. 1 spring onions
  5. Arugula
  6. FOR VEGAN PULLED PORK
  7. 600 g oyster mushrooms
  8. 2 tablespoons of mustard
  9. 3 tablespoons of ketchup
  10. 3 tablespoons of neutral vegetable oil
  11. 2 tablespoon of red wine vinegar
  12. 1 teaspoon of sugar
  13. 2 cloves of garlic
  14. 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  15. 1/2 teaspoon of sweet paprika
  16. 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  17. 1/2 little spoon of salt
Preparation
  1. For the barbecue sauce, mix all the ingredients together..
  2. Cut the oyster mushrooms into thin slices and put in a frying pan with a splash of oil for 5 minutes over medium heat. Then pour the barbecue sauce over it and let it cook., always on medium heat, 10 minutes.
  3. Grate the cabbage and carrots, chop the onion and mix everything. season with a drizzle of olive oil and lemon juice.
  4. Assemble your burgers with a layer of arugula, the vegan pulled pork and the coleslaw and enjoy !

    Ummmmm, he really looks really good. And with mushrooms, I’m sure I’d like this burger. ! Lighter too for the approaching summer, he really has it all.
