Fried rice with onions and adzuki bean sprouts

Monsieur m’avait offert à Noël dernier, un germoir et des graines car j’adore les graines germées. Même si la production de ces derniers temps est vraiment très irrégulière (oui Mini-Mademoiselle nous prend beaucoup mais alors beaucoup de temps !!!), j’adore toujours autant découvrir de nouvelles variétés de graines germées. Et cette fois nous allons parler haricots adzukis, mais si vous savez, ces haricots utilisés au Japon se dégustent plutôt en dessert avec la fameuse pâte de haricot adzukis (au passage j’en avais fait un kringle very interesting !).

Anyway, this fried rice with onions is the typical dish of : 1. I don't have much time, 2. I don't want to take my head, 3. I have nothing in my cupboards (cross out unnecessary mentions !). And then as you can see in the following photo, I accompanied this rice with good small Paris mushrooms just seasoned with a miso vinaigrette and hop a balanced lunch (who talked about the jersey test ?! Anyway not me !) !

Fried rice with onions and adzuki bean sprouts

Ingredients (pour 2 people)

  • 200 g cooked rice (basmati or thai type)
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 Red onion
  • 50 g of germs of haricots adzukis
  • 1 drizzle of vegetable oil
  • 2 c. to s. soy sauce (shoyu)
  • 1 pinch of five spices
  • 1 pinch of sugar

Description

Finely chop the onions and put them in a wok with a drizzle of oil. Fry over low heat 5 minutes stirring. Pour over the soy sauce then add the sugar and spices.

Then add the rice and increase the heat.. Sauté everything, stirring regularly for 5 minutes.

Finally add the adzuki bean sprouts and continue cooking 1 minute.

Serve immediately.
