Grapefruit salad, strawberries and baby spinach with elderberry syrup
Voici une salade de fruits quelque peu… surprenante ! Oui oui vous lisez bien, des pousses d’Ă©pinards dans une salade de pamplemousse, votre vue ne vous joue pas des tours !!! Cela faisait longtemps que j’avais envie d’essayer l’Ă©pinard en salade version sucrĂ©e et c’est chose faite avec beaucoup de succĂšs. J’ai la chance d’avoir encore des fraises qui poussent sur ma terrasse Ă cette saison, alors j’en profite !
Pour sucrer le tout, j’ai utilisĂ© du sirop de fleurs sureau artisanal ramenĂ© de chez ma sĆur en LozĂšre, and this little floral touch really brings that little something extra to the whole.

Ingredients
- Strawberries (charlotte, healing, mara of the woods…)
- 1 pink grapefruit
- Spinach shoots
- Elderflower syrup
Description
Peel the grapefruit and macerate the segments in a little elderflower syrup.
Add the strawberries and baby spinach.
Serve chilled.

24.7.12You can find an elderberry drink from our Swedish friend (small beige briquettes), elderberry has a very mild taste, you quickly become addicted, it is a shrub that produces small white flowers and berries, very common in Europe. I'm sure you can find some.
