Rustic apricot and cherry tart

Rustic apricot and cherry tart

Ingredients

For the shortcrust pastry

  • 250 g of flour
  • 125 g cane sugar
  • 125 g de beurre coupé en dès
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt

Pour la garniture

  • 6-8 gros abricots Bergeron
  • Une quinzaine de cerises
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • 50 g cane sugar + 1 c. to s.

Description

For the dough, mix all the ingredients together in a food processor or by hand for 3 minutes. Form a ball and leave to cool 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 200°.

Take the dough out of the fridge and roll it out into a circle of approximately 30 cm in diameter using a rolling pin. Even out the edges if necessary.

Mix together the almond powder and sugar then spread this mixture in the center of the dough, leaving 5 cm of edges.

Wash and cut your apricots and cherries in half, remove the cores and place them on the dough.

Sprinkle the fruit with the remaining sugar and fold the edges of the dough over the fruit.

Bake 30 min.
