Tomato and cheddar tartlet

And since you only need 4 ingredients, why not prepare them for tonight ?!
And you, still in summer or one foot into autumn ?

- 1 puff pastry rolls 250 g
- 2/3 tomatoes (here from the retort of the Andes)
- 100 g cheddar cheese
- rosemary
- Preheat the oven to 210°.
- Roll out the puff pastry onto 3-4 mm and cut into circles and place them on a baking tray.
- Cut the tomatoes into slices 5 mm.
- Grate the cheddar then add it to the dough rounds then top with a slice of tomato.
- Finish by sprinkling a little chopped rosemary.
- Bake 10-12 minutes

21.9.15it’s true that these little tarts are very cute ! personally I dove into autumn despite myself (time, the recovery…) but I would still like to have the opportunity to make tomato tartlets for picnics !
Emilie
8.10.15Ah yes sometimes we fall into autumn a little quickly ! I still have one foot in summer because the stalls are still full of summer vegetables !

27.9.15Thank you for this recipe, perfect for using our penultimate tomatoes from the garden. ( yes yes I am optimistic ; -). We enjoyed ourselves. I think I will add a thicker slice of cheddar next time for more deliciousness…

30.9.15I dream of one day finding cheddar in France like in the United States… Even in the excellent cheese shop in the city center of Strasbourg, they only have British farmhouse cheddar… And otherwise, fully in autumn mode, that's it ! 🙂
Emilie
8.10.15Ah yes it’s true that it’s not quite the same but I manage to find a very good one at my cheesemonger’s (at the same time we are lucky to have a MOF !)
Corinne
7.10.19Thank you for this very quick and nice recipe but be careful : Prick the rounds of dough well with a fork before adding the cheese and tomato, otherwise the dough will swell and cause the tomato to fall…
Emilie
7.10.19Thank you Corine for this clarification 😉
