Coconut Cream Chocolate Truffles {To prepare for Christmas #10}
Coconut Cream Chocolate Truffles
Ingredients (for twenty)
- 375 g good dark chocolate
- 150 g de crème de coco
- 2 c. at c. coconut oil
- De la noix de coco râpée et/ou du cacao amer
Description
The trick to having coconut cream is to refrigerate a can of coconut milk then recover the cream which will have separated from the water, cream from a can should be enough.
Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave with the cream and coconut oil.
Pour the mixture into a dish then put in the freezer for 10 min.
Using a spoon, form small balls., shape them by hand if necessary then dip them in grated coconut or bitter cocoa.
Keep cool.
Enjoy whenever you want !

5.3.13Do ! From two Nestlé dark chocolate dessert bars (2x200g) + a little more than half a can of coconut cream 400 g melted together then distributed on silicone plate of mini round molds. First crumble some rice cakes, then poured a layer of rice crispy into each cell before topping with chocolate+coconut mixture. Verdict tomorrow when unmolding but already delicious to taste the leftovers on the utensils :) Thanks Emilie!

6.3.13Thank you very much Ondine, cool with rice cakes !!!

17.10.13This looks delicious, with coconut cream it’s a change it’s original… You don't put any sugar in it at all, it's not too strong in chocolate ? If I wanted to add a little, would you advise me how much? ?
Emilie
18.10.13I think you can start with 50g of sugar but without it it's not too strong. !
