Apple and raspberry turnovers {vegan}

Ici c’est une version pomme/framboise que je vous propose, so yes it's true it's already the very end of the raspberry season, But do not panic, if you can't find fresh ones, you can use frozen ones (I promise I won't say anything because I myself used some for the photo !). For the foodies who can't wait, the apple turnovers are to be tasted while still hot and yes, it's even better !

The version of the day is vegan with a margarine puff pastry and vegetable milk gilding but you are free to choose a pure butter puff pastry and gild with egg. To your stoves, It's warming up !!!

Recette de chaussons aux pommes

Chaussons aux pommes maison

Apple and raspberry turnovers
Pour 8/10 slippers
To print
Ingredients
Cook over medium heat and covered 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let cool.
  2. Preheat the oven to 220°.
  5. Glaze the dough with vegetable milk then cut it nicely. Finish by sprinkling the turnovers with brown sugar.
  6. Bake 10-15 minutes.

The apple turnover was my favorite pastry when I was little.
We have plenty of apples at home, here is a recipe idea that changes from pie or compote. And with a few more raspberries… mmmhhh !! it makes me want to get into it !

  • It looks so easy to do! I really like apple turnovers and I think the combination with raspberry would please me because it's my favorite fruit 🙂
The photos are just stunning too.!

Ummm, they are very pretty and very regular. I'm not very slippery because I find that often there is a lot of pasta and little fruit…but yours seem to have nice proportions.

    These apple turnovers are great!!
Tell me, I'm looking for a puff pastry recipe without butter because my son is allergic to pop and I was wondering how you do it ?
is there the recipe on your blog?
Because the only margarine that I have found without lactose is soft.. not great for puff pastry
    Merci

The puff pastry, I buy it in organic groceries because some are made from vegetable margarine so no worries for POS !

I have raspberries from my grandmother's garden that are sent to me in gold card boxes so that I can freeze them and enjoy them all year round, that's good 🙂
