Veggie tortilla au seitan {vegan}
Rien de bien compliqué, non, but it's the kind of little dish that saves us a bit when we don't really have the time or the desire to cook (provided you always have a packet of tortillas in the cupboard !). It is therefore a very simple and complete dish that you can enjoy as it is or accompanied by a good warming soup. (we really need it right now !).
Hope this gives you some ideas, because if you don't have seitan under your arm (finally in your fridge huh !!!), you can always replace it with tempeh or flavored tofu. olé !
- 2 small "steaks" de seitan (ici du gourmet grill)
- 4 tortillas (here at corn)
- 1 carrots
- 1 pepper
- 1/2 Red onion
- 1/4 red cabbage
- 1 bunch of arugula
- A few cherry tomatoes
- The juice of a lime
- Olive oil
- From the jalapeno tabasco (the green)
- Cut the onion and cabbage into thin strips, grate the carrot and mix them together and season with a drizzle of olive oil and lime juice.
- wash, drain and reserve the arugula.
- Cut the bell pepper into rings and the cherry tomatoes in half.
- Cook the seitan steaks as indicated on the package then cut them into strips.
- Heat the tortillas in the pan for a few minutes..
- Garnish the tortillas with all the vegetables and the seitan on top and finish by adding a little tabasco to your taste.
