Black Forest “in a jar” {Battle Food #9}

Dessert un peu kitch, I think he gets a real facelift like that…

Forêt noire

Forêt noire

I liked the idea of making a small dessert in a jar that wasn’t too big. (delicious but not too much !) but you can always make a giant one if you like !

Black Forest “in a jar”

Ingredients (pour 4)

  • 15 whipping cream
  • 10 g icing sugar
  • 100 g of amarena cherries or kirch cherries with their syrup

For the chocolate sponge cake

  • 3 eggs
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 18 g bitter cocoa powder

Description

Preheat the oven to 180°.

Make the sponge cake, To do this, separate the yolks from the whites then whisk the yolks with the sugar until the mixture whitens and becomes foamy.. Gently incorporate the cocoa into this mixture.

Beat the whites until stiff and then add them to the yolks in two batches..

Divide the preparation into 8 muffin tins covered with cases.

Bake 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, beat the cold cream with the icing sugar to make the whipped cream.. Book cool.

Once cooled, cut out your sponge cakes the size of your jars then place a sponge cake at the bottom of each jar. Cover with cherries and syrup to soak the sponge cake. Continue with a layer of whipped cream then repeat the operation.

Forêt noire

Enjoy immediately or keep refrigerated.

A essayer tiens !
