Ok c’est l’été mais il fait carrément frisquet dehors, enfin pas 10 degrés quand même mais suffisamment pour avoir envie de rallumer son four et se préparer des bons petits plats chauds (exemple hier je nous ai cuisiné un dal avec des courgettes, le genre de choses que je ne cuisine jamais en été normalement !). Bon là pour le coup on ne rallume pas son four mais on fait péter son gaufrier pour cuisiner des gaufres de pommes de terre et accessoirement des gaufres de Liège pour le goûter, bah oui faut pas se laisser abattre ma bonne dame ! These potato waffles are perfectly served as a dish with a salad or with avocado, like avocado toast with the basket in the place of bread or for the aperitif, In short you do a bit as you feel it !

If you ever have too many, Keep them cool or freeze them and just warm up in the oven.

Ingredients
  1. 500 g potatoes
  2. 2 eggs
  3. 80 g rice flour
  4. 50 g cornstarch
  5. 20 cl of vegetable rice milk
  6. 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  7. 2 Gluten -free yeast teaspoons
  8. Salt and pepper
  9. vegetable oil
Preparation
  1. Beat together the egg and 'oil then add the flours and the vegetable milk to form a smooth paste.
  2. Peel and grate the potatoes then drain the excess starch by pressing them and add them to the dough. Mix.
  3. Salt and pepper and heat the waffle iron.
  4. Oil the waffle iron well then add the dough and cook 7 minutes.
  5. Serve with lawyer, shoots, Cebette ... or nature !

    What measurement is 20cl of milk please in mls. Also in the recipe you have 2 teaspoons of yeast but it is not mentioned in the instructions. At what point do you add the yeast please. Thanks Eleonora

      In effect, The yeast must be added at the same time as the flour , It’s a forgetfulness ! 20 cl of milk is equivalent to 200 ml 😉
