Amarena Cherry Ginger Muffins
J’adore les cerises, mais les cerises amarena ça c’est un vrai péché de gourmandise, alors pour se faire plaisir rien de tel que des muffins avec une touche de gingembre pour corser le tout!
Amarena Cherry Ginger Muffins
Ingredients(pour 8 muffins)
- 240 g semi-wholemeal flour
- 75 g de flocons d’avoine ou autres
- 80 grams of sugar
- 3 c à c de levure chimique
- 1 c. to s. powdered ginger
- 1 c à c de sel
- 150 ml of milk
- 115 ml d’huile de tournesol
- 2 eggs
- 1 grated apple (environ 220 g entière)
- 150 g of amarena cherries
- 1 morceau de gingembre frais de la taille d’une noix (environ 10 g)
- Cassonade
Description
Preheat the oven to 200°.
Mélanger la farine, sugar, the yeast, les flocons d’avoine et le gingembre en poudre ensemble.
Peel and core the apples then grate it and mix with the flour to avoid oxidation.
Add the cherries without their juice to this preparation, as well as grated fresh ginger.
In another bowl, mix the milk, the oil and the eggs together then add them to the flour and mix without overworking the dough because this develops the gluten which will make the muffins drier!
Divide the batter into muffin tins.
Sprinkle with a little brown sugar.
Bake for 20-25 min so that they are golden brown but still soft.

25.10.17I love your Blog, it is awesome …
I would like to have : I bought amarena cherries once, to make a dark forest, The black forest was a success, but I admit that some including me, found these cherries disgusting, way too sweet.
So you, you like it like that, where do you have a tip for sweet dice ??? Merci
Emilie
30.10.17Yes it's true that it's very sweet but I like it ! I don't have any tricks to desugaring them, you just have to lower the amount of sugar in your preparation when you put amarena cherries !
