Garlic Roasted Leeks

I therefore suggest that you re-familiarize yourself with this vegetable. viellot from yesteryear, giving it a little pep with garlic and lemon and a drizzle of olive oil.
This is a perfect side dish recipe, that goes with everything (I tell you, this leek is not difficult !) and super easy to make, yes there are only four ingredients. So take care and to your leeks !

- A dozen small fine leeks
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 drizzle of olive oil
- Juice of half a lemon
- Preheat the oven to 200°.
- Heat a large pot of salted water.
- Cut both ends of the leeks then immerse them in the pan and blanch them 3 minutes. Drain the leeks well and place them on a baking tray..
- Prepare the seasoning by mixing the olive oil and lemon juice. cut the garlic into strips and add them to the previous mixture.
- Pour this mixture over the leeks, coat them well then put in the oven 8-10 minutes.

6.11.14Well, I love leeks! In soup, in béchamel gratin, in fondue with fish, or even in pie … YUM
I really like your recipe, here's an original way of cooking it that I would never have thought of! 🙂
(On the other hand I only like white, I will save the green for the soup :D)

14.11.14Oh yes! Baked leeks! I especially like roasted young spring leeks without boiling them first.. With fresh garlic and a little thyme, it's a killer…
