Strawberry salad with mint syrup

Strawberry salad is a bit of my guilty pleasure because there is nothing simpler to make (apart from eating the strawberries as they are !). Well this time I added a homemade mint syrup and the mint brings the freshness to the strawberry, just perfect with the current temperatures here #petitpointmétéodujourbonjour.
In short, nothing very complicated here but it’s true that I couldn’t resist the urge to share such pretty strawberries with you !

- 500 g strawberries
- 1 small bunch of fresh mint
- 80 g cane sugar
- 12 key of water
- Prepare the mint syrup, To do this, bring the water to a boil in a saucepan., sugar and mint (keep aside a few leaves) and let 10 minutes at low boil.
- Filter and let cool.
- Cut the strawberries in half or quarters depending on their size then mix them with the cooled syrup.
- Decorate with some chopped mint leaves.

28.6.17I can't get strawberries to grow! And I stupidly left the mint in bloom! Thanks for the recipe, it will be useful later, when the strawberries come back and the mint has grown back (I just cut it)
