Good stopover !

3.9.13Hum, this is my favorite salad (Finally, with the niçoise!) ! I have a friend who went to Greece this summer and she sent me a Greek salad recipe postcard. (yes, people always send me recipe postcards.. not you?!) well over there they don't cut the feta into pieces .. they place the whole block on the salad !!!

3.9.13Superb your version of Greek salad!
I have lived in Greece since 17 ans , « horiatiki salata » is made of tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, pepper,
Onions, olive oil, a large slice of feta and especially oregano , possibly capers.
Personally I use cherry tomatoes and add “paximadi” like Greek croutons.
Everyone Can choose more or less their version, Tastes and colors ……..
In any case ,I love your recipes !!!!

5.9.13I love this salad… I'm really glad you shared it !
In the version I've always known, we eat it mixed with wheat. It's a little more consistent, but still so fresh. You can also add capers, marinated tomatoes or peppers. Delights await you !
