Fig and blackberry tart {vegan}
I immediately jumped at the chance to combine figs and blackberries in a tart in the colors of this lovely season. There is a lot of fruit in this fig tart and little sugar, just a little in the dough and in the bottom of the tart with the jam, which gives a tart that is both delicious and light.
Temperatures are slowly dropping, so why not enjoy this tart with a cup of steaming tea for a snack !
- 750 g of figs
- 1 pot (250g) fig jam
- 300 g blackberries
- FOR THE DOUGH
- 230 g of flour T65
- 6 cl of deodorized sunflower oil
- 7 tablespoons of water
- 50 g cane sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- Prepare the dough for this, sand the flour mixture in a food processor fitted with a sheet or by hand, sucre, salt and oil. Then add the water and continue mixing until you obtain a nice ball.. Book cool 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven from the bottom to 180.
- Roll out the dough on 3-4 mm then press it into a circle or tart pan.
- Mix together the fig jam and blackberries then spread the mixture over the tart base. Bake 20 minutes.
- During this time, cut all the figs into four quarters.
- At the end of 20 minutes of cooking, remove the tart from the oven then arrange the figs nicely on the tart. Bake again 10 minutes at 180° in rotating heat.
- Let cool before eating.

9.10.16Hello Emily,
I would like to inform you that I shared your recipe on the Terre Fertile Facebook page – documentary.
Quickly, it’s a project led by two of me (delphine) and Loïc, we will travel through France during 1 year to meet farmers (among others) and see that another agriculture is possible, we will also be interested in living together, solutions to consume less and above all better, to the Earth in all that it has wonderful things to offer us… We will publish 1 video by me to present the people we are with at the given moment, then from here 1 year we will release a more poetic documentary (we hope so anyway).
We carry out this adventure through wwoofing, If you don’t know yet and you’re interested, I invite you to find out what it’s about 🙂
I'll leave you the link to the Facebook page, don’t hesitate to take a look if you feel like it, we also have an Instagram page.
See you soon, and thank you again for this recipe which is very tempting !
