Roquefort toast, blackberries and honey
Les deux se marient très bien, Roquefort bringing its character (not complaining eh !!!), blackberries, fruitiness and honey bring a gourmet touch to the whole. I love putting my bread in the oven with a drizzle of olive oil to make it crispy but if you're a little lazy, you can toast it (I didn't say burn!).
To be enjoyed as a starter (or even an aperitif !) or as a dish accompanied by a good salad.
- 8 slices of country bread
- 150 g de roquefort papillon "taste"
- 100 g blackberries
- Honey bread or honey
- 1 filet d'huile d'olive
- Preheat the oven to 200°.
- Arrange the slices of bread on a baking tray and pour a drizzle of olive oil on top.. Bake 8-10 minutes.
- Let the bread cool then add to each slice, large strips of Roquefort, a few blackberries and a piece of honey bread (or 1 teaspoon of honey).
- Taste without delay.

27.8.15A very original recipe ! My gentleman doesn't like sweet and sour foods too much., so I'm just going to look at these pretty toasts.
I don't know honey bread : Is it crunchy or is it runny? ?
Emilie
11.9.15Honey bread is between the two but it’s rather soft and full of good things because you eat the wax !

28.8.15Unlike your man, I am a fan of Roquefort (and all cheeses in general as well) and your toast seems very delicious to me as it should be. To be tested quickly therefore 😉
