Cherry clafoutis

Ô malheur, ô désespoir… il fallait vite corriger ça en vous proposant ma version: un clafoutis classique, without embellishment that you can customize as you wish (well yes you can add kirsch or bitter almond extract for example).

The war of the nuclei is still very present in the clafoutis and personally I am for leaving them…not out of laziness (though !) but because the stones bring a divine almond taste to the clafoutis ! So watch your teeth but hey, once we are warned…
Cherry clafoutis
Ingredients (pour 4 or a small pie dish)
- 250 grams of cherries
- 40 g cane sugar
- 1 egg
- 20 cl of milk
- 15 g ground almonds
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 4 c. to s. of flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- Butter
Description
Beat the egg with 30 g of sugar and the vanilla sugar until the mixture becomes foamy. Then add the flour, almond powder, milk and salt. Let the dough rest 2 cool hours.
Preheat the oven to 180°.
Butter a pie dish and sweeten it with the 10 g of sugar remaining.
Wash and hull the cherries then put them in the dish.
Pour the preparation over it and bake 35 minutes.

Serve warm and sprinkle (or not) icing sugar !
